Caitlin Griffiths is a museum and cultural consultant with over 20 years of experience in the sector. She began her career in social history curatorship and managing small independent museums before transitioning into sector policy development during her time at the Museums Association.
For the past 11 years, Caitlin has worked as a consultant for leading agencies such as Arts Council England, the National Heritage Lottery Fund, the Museums Association, and the Art Fund. She has collaborated with over 50 museums and heritage organisations, from small independents to University and National Museums, and has also managed a Local Authority Museum service.
Caitlin specialises in leadership development, helping individuals and organisations navigate change. She is deeply invested in workforce development and has contributed to sector-wide research that has shaped policy.
A passionate advocate for professional growth in the museum and cultural sectors, she serves as a mentor and recently developed a peer mentoring program for audience engagement practitioners
