Lucie Branczik is a cultural strategist with twenty-years experience of conceptualising and delivering cultural destinations in the UK, Europe, Russia and the Middle East. Her expertise ranges from cultural strategy, benchmarking and masterplanning to engagement, interpretive planning, and creative direction.

While at urban design and research firm Publica, Lucie led and authored Newham’s ambitious 15-year cultural strategy and action plan, focused on driving investment, inclusive participation and wellbeing through culture. She undertook comprehensive research on creative-cultural sectors, examined cross-sectoral opportunities, and delivered wide-reaching engagement. She developed Publica’s social value programme, and was responsible for coordinating culture and activation for Oxford Street District.

Prior to completing her MBA at Imperial College Business School, Lucie spent 13 years at Event Communications, Europe’s leading experience design agency, where she led interpretive design teams on the redevelopment of museums, cultural quarters, and brand experiences. Notable projects include Bristol’s M-Shed, Bletchley Park, Amsterdam’s Dutch Maritime Museum, Moscow's Oriental Art Museum, Izhevsk's Waterfront Cultural Quarter, as well as London's View from the Shard and The Crystal: Siemens Urban Sustainability Centre. She devised a bold distributed model for the New Contemporary Art Gallery Wales for Welsh Assembly, Arts Council Wales and National Museum Wales. And, for Oman’s most recently opened national museum, Oman Across Ages Museum, Lucie led the comprehensive masterplan, architectural competition, and the interpretive design team through to detail design.

Lucie’s strength lies in her ability to contribute at all project stages. She works closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure ideas conceived are developed and realised in line with projects’ visions and values.
